Indian Classical Music, Saptaswara and Animal Sounds

Being a trained Carnatic classical vocalist, I always used to love how the Hindustani Vocalists sound. So I always tried to find out more about the style of Indian classical music. In this video, I try to explain how the two styles of music is different by giving an example of the Bhagyada Lakshmi Baramma (ಭಾಗ್ಯದಾ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿಬಾರಮ್ಮ). I also explain how the Saptaswara was influenced by animal sounds.
